Tornado takes place in 1790s Scotland and stars Kōki as Tornado, the daughter of a former samurai who now works as a traveling puppeteer. They inadvertently cross paths with a gang of criminals led by a man called Sugarman (Roth), who has Tornado’s father killed. She escapes, kicking off a years-long battle between her and the gang.
